Description: The Four Mile Canyon Fire burned in the fall of 2010 in the Rocky Mountain Front Range adjacent to Boulder, Colorado. The fire occurred in steep, rugged terrain, primarily on privately owned land. After 5 days of burning, the Four Mile Canyon Fire had burned 6,181 acres and become one of the most damaging fires in Colorado’s history with an estimated $217 million in damages. MYR Group subsidiary Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. helped to repair and rebuild distribution lines following the fire, with crews working around the clock for 10 days to help restore power to area residents.
