The first phase of the Southwest Intertie Project, also known as SWIP, ON Line was designed to enable the development of numerous renewable energy projects throughout Nevada, enhance overall energy-sharing efficiencies for Nevada Energy’s power generation resources, and connect Nevada Energy’s two main service areas for the first time.
