MYR Energy Services, Inc.

MYR Transmission Services, Inc. (MYRT) was established to serve customers participating in major transmission construction projects across the United States. In response to evolving customer needs, a changing market, and a new clean energy landscape, MYR Transmission Services, Inc. has expanded its scope of services and is now known as MYR Energy Services, Inc. (MYRE).

MYRE serves customers participating in nationwide engineer-procure-construct (EPC), larger transmission and substation construction projects, and renewable energy project delivery. Customers are served through local operating companies or newly established offices for specific projects.

EPC Project Delivery Capabilities and Nationwide Resources

MYRE offers complete EPC project delivery or construction-only services for traditional design-bid-build project delivery. During project execution, MYRE has overall project accountability and provides a strong, experienced management team responsible for ensuring on time and on budget completion.

MYRE also provides EPC contracting services for renewable and solar energy facilities throughout the U.S. including permitting, energy storage, complete solar facilities, and substation and transmission line interconnections.

Our EPC solutions offer:

  • Diverse expertise
  • Cost competitive models with transparency on how project decisions impact cost
  • Reduced project timelines with defined in-service dates
  • A single point of contact
  • Engineering discipline
  • Construction pragmatism and early constructability analysis
  • Varied skillsets (from both contractor’s side and owner’s) allow us to see things from the customer’s perspective
  • Assumption of most project risk while preventing contractual carveouts and unnecessary project costs
  • Optimized subcontractor productivity and performance
  • Accountability throughout all project phases

The Ability to Utilize Multiple Operating Companies and Subcontractors

MYRE can draw upon the resources of any of MYR Group’s nationwide operating subsidiaries. We have access to extensive fleet and tooling resources, and the labor force required for successful access, structure, guy, conductor, and OPGW/OHGW installation.

Vast, Self-Contained, Vertically-Integrated Resources Streamline Efficiencies

Labor resources who are trained and managed under the direction of a single entity promotes same-standard adherence and familiarity in productivity, communication, safety and quality. This also diminishes the need to subcontract additional labor resources from outside the organization.

Extensive Experience and Cohesive Project Teams

Our successful performance on projects allows us to provide similar best practices, knowledge of local/regional conditions and topography, and cohesive project teams who have worked together on past projects. These attributes translate to exceptional quality, efficiency, communication, and safety.
