MYR Energy Services, Inc. (MYRE) was established to serve customers participating in major transmission construction projects across the United States. In response to evolving customer needs, a changing market, and a new clean energy landscape, MYRE was recently rebranded from MYR Transmission Services, Inc. to reflect its expanded scope of services.

MYRE provides a wide range of contracting services for large transmission and substation projects, as well as solar, battery storage, and other renewable energy facilities throughout the U.S. MYRE specializes in engineer-procure-construct (EPC), and is also capable of executing general contracting (GC) forms of project delivery. As a nationwide contractor and subsidiary of MYR Group, MYRE utilizes local operation offices to meet the needs of the client and the project.

Electrical Transmission and Substation Capabilities

MYR Energy Services’ far-reaching capabilities encompass the design, construction, and maintenance of transmission facilities ranging from 69kV to 765kV.  In every region of the U.S., we have experience with each type of structure, foundation, voltage, and terrain; and can provide the labor and equipment resources required for projects of all sizes and scopes through our MYR Group subsidiaries.

MYRE also performs substation, collector system, and switchyard construction from the ground-up including engineering, material procurement, site work, foundation construction, grounding systems, steel erection, bus work installation, welding, power and control cable installation, testing, and finish rock for stations through 765kV.
